At Selah.Place, you will find a natural environment that is intentional on you finding rest and recreating what's in your heart for your everyday life. With a fire pit and 2 Adirondack chairs at each Casita, you will find a cozy place to chill with that close friend or even solo. We have also built superior decks around each Casita to add to your options of unique environments and water views. Around the property you will find fishing, walking paths, a quiet and quaint Texas country road to explore. Bird watching is a favorite in this space as well. Nearby you will find access to 4 major lakes and many wonderful local shops. Canton's First Monday Trades Day, is a mere 32 miles away. Monthly, thousands of people flock here for amazing finds and places to stay.
Inside each home, you will find a king size bed with your favorite "Nectar" award winning in all categories mattress that will emulate you resting upon a cloud. Each Casita has an equipped kitchenette with extras that will be awaiting your arrival upon request. Our goal is you finding Selah.
Our family is likely a lot like yours. We are 4 extremely active and adventurous individuals who struggle to rest in our peak seasons of life. At 46 33, 8 and 5 years old, We wake up early and get home late. We long for times of rest and restoration. Or at least we did.
In 2020, following a major overhaul and construction in our lives, we decided to take a month off to just reconnect and find rest. This is where we found the heartbeat for Selah.Place. As we recovered and found recreation around the US in our travels, we realized how few Americans are able to find this place of rest and recreation. Coming out of our time away in nature, we realized we came away with more creativity, energy and focus for life ahead. That's what Selah.Place is for you.
Our whole aim is to provide a space for you to come away, escape, check out and just be still. We believe your time here will be the very thing your soul has been craving amidst the busy pace of this life. We are here to serve you and assist you in finding Selah.
